NURTURING A CRISIS

President Barack Obama and his bureaucratic henchmen proudly boast that they intend to keep their boot on the neck of a major corporation even as they are entirely dependent on their intended victim to stifle the escalating oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. It would almost seem an idiotic statement were it not coming from a president who promised that “change is coming to America.” Rest assured, the apparent incompetence of the Obama administration is far more nefarious than the “Keystone Cops” illusion that they are gleefully promoting to the American public.

Science has been getting a bad rap lately…and deservedly so. The Anthropic Global Warming hoax is unraveling and too many unscrupulous scientists at the center of this politically motivated redistributionist scheme are now being excoriated for whoring themselves out to Marxist swindlers. Yet they are hardly the first, nor are they the most guilty of mis-leading the public through false science. They are merely building their fraudulent theories on the foundations previously laid by others.

INTOLERABLE ACTS

Intolerable Acts. The very sound of such words reeks of a tyrannical villainy that exceeds the “run of the mill” oppression normally associated with a bloated, out of control government. However, it also reeks of something else: A people who believe they deserve better and are unwilling to tolerate the tyranny, regardless of the ramifications of resistance. Despite the insistence from our president otherwise, we descend from a good, decent and independent people. However, our government, unable and unwilling to acknowledge this fact, is re-instituting a policy of Intolerable Acts, and we need only consult our wise ancestors in order to discern the remedy.

LIARS, THIEVES AND SCIENTISTS

The Climate Gate e-mails are shaking up the world of climate “science” and, once and for all, placing the Global Warming Cabal in the category of political extortionists. Unfortunately, scientists themselves are going to find that betraying the public’s trust will have huge consequences as their profession, just as with educators, media and the government, is labeled as an ideological hive of liars and thieves that will deliver whatever “science” their benefactors demand.

PERCEPTION IS REALITY

I have been reading a new book this week called “And Party Every Day” by Larry Harris. It tells the story of Casablanca records and how they went from nothing to becoming one of the most powerful labels in the music business. Casablanca, as you may recall, is the label that brought KISS to the world, although they were somewhat of an anomaly to the label. Casablanca became known as the “disco” label at a time when disco was king of the charts. Being a lifelong enlistee in the KISS Army it was inevitable that I would be drawn to this book written by the late Neil Bogart’s second in command. It is a very revealing read.

THE POLITICS OF SCIENCE

Scientists, not unlike journalists, are arrogant people. No, its not because they are, as some would have you believe, smarter than the rest of us. It really has more to do with their perceptions of their reputations. Science, we are repeatedly told, is concerned with facts and data and therefore it is supposedly immune to the sort of criticism leveled at the likes of politicians and clergymen. Unfortunately, scientists are, in fact, human and therefore susceptible to the same biases and temptations that befall the rest of us. Is it then shocking to find out that scientists would cast their “precious” reputations before swine and bias their research in favor of a particularly desired outcome, especially if by doing so they would gain both fame and the financing needed to continue their pursuits? Of course not.

I AM THE WALRUS

The assault on the American economy by socialism is increasing in its voracity with each passing day. The sovereignty of the United States, as well as our own individual liberty, has never been in greater danger than it is now. The appetite for economically stifling environmental litigation only grows with each meal it consumes. Global warming hysteria is dragging the socialist indoctrinated lemmings of our society over the edge of a doomsday precipice that will destroy our economy and our way of life, whilst having ZERO effect in changing the course of the earth’s climate. With their foolishly surprising success at deceiving the Bush administration into listing the Polar Bear as a threatened species, despite the use of dubious data, the Church of the Global Apocalypse has moved on to a new “victim” of man made global warming…the Pacific walrus.

THE SCIENCE OF DENYING GOD

There is a threat in our world, the likes of which we have never seen before. All of civilization hangs in the balance and the actions taken, or not taken, by those of us alive today will determine whether or not we will have a future. Is the government or the media leading the charge to solve this problem? No! They are more interested in promoting a gathering of wackadoo musicians and actors doing a series of concerts to promote the fraudulent cause of “man-made global warming.” Real flesh and blood enemies are working to bring more terrorism and death to us. Yet we are constantly told that the threat of terrorism is being overblown by an unpopular presidential administration. The war on terror is nothing more than a bumper sticker slogan. It is the threat of catastrophic climate change that is the real danger…And the children shall lead.
