Who says President Obama doesn’t believe in free enterprise? As it turns out, the opposite may be true. If by “free” you mean working without compensation and by “enterprise” you are willing to accept the government as your project. Our president is so committed to the concept of volunteerism and its resultant “free” labor that he is out to undercut the private sector’s ability to make use of it in favor of a government monopoly. No, No I am not talking about a return to indentured servitude or slavery. I’m talking about interns.
GIGGLES AND SPITE
I envy the Byzantines. The death of their empire was spectacular. Muslims under the command of Sultan Mehmed II came storming through the gates of Constantinople on Tuesday, May 29, 1453 and promptly began butchering every man, woman and child in sight as they likewise looted the city’s extensive wealth. When the crescent was lifted over the newly named Istanbul, every survivor of the the once glorious Byzantine Empire was left with no doubt that their world, and all they knew, was over.
Whether or not the United States died on Sunday, March 21, 2010, may still be an open question. There remain many battles to be fought. However the sacking of Washington that we witnessed on our televisions as the damnable Health Care Reform Bill was passed into law was far less noble than that of Constantinople. What we observed, as democrats bribed and intimidated their own members into passing this monstrosity, would make Boss Tweed’s Tammany Hall seem like a Baptist bake sale. At least Tweed and his cronies were bribed with private money.
MATTERS OF LIFE AND DEATH
“But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was no remedy.” -2 Chronicles 36:16
Where were you when the line was crossed? Do you know what you were doing when the man who calls himself the President of the United States elevated himself to the status of God? Did you even notice or were you too busy with some other menial task to allow yourself to appreciate this monumental moment? This kind of thing used to happen a lot in ancient times when entire populations were believers in many gods. It’s not so much of an occurrence in the age of reason and monotheism. Declaring yourself to be a god, however, is not quite the same as elevating yourself to the status of THE God. Although, to be fair, the ambition is the same whether you are Caligula or Obama. Behold, the most preposterous, and blasphemous, statement ever made by a President of the United States:
“We are God’s partners in matters of life and death.” – President Barack Obama

I love Star Trek. Whether it be the incomparably brilliant original series or any of the spin-offs, I have always been enchanted by the Gene Roddenberry’s vision of the future. To be sure, its all a bunch of socialist hooey. It’s a godless, collectivist nightmare of rebuilding the Tower of Babel and calling it the United Federation of Planets. It’s built around the pollyannaish pipe-dream of re-uniting all of mankind, with a few other species thrown in for good measure, and “organizing” everyone behind the Federation’s collectivist version of peace and harmony. However, I always found it remarkable that people accepted Roddenberry’s vision of the future without any real back-story of how all of humanity was aligned to the Federation’s universal order. Instead, all we get is a little story about a eugenics war, with millions killed, and some genetically improved super-humans, particularly one called Khan.
DER ANGRIFF
If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then somewhere (Hell, perchance?) Joseph Goebbels is basking in celebration. Certainly the infamous propaganda minister for The Third Reich has to be proud of the Obama administration’s bold use of his tried and true tactics of mass deception. Coordinated and “manufactured” stories and pseudo-events pour through the media daily, all in deliberate lockstep with the “Community Organizer In Chief’s” agenda to remake Amerika into a socialist/fascist state more susceptible to deception and, ultimately, control. Consider these headlines which appeared in newspapers across the country on April 7th and 8th, 2009:
THE AUDACITY OF “OBAMANOMICS”

Well there is no way I can get around it. I am finally going to have to deal directly with the ideas and ideology of presidential hopeful Barack H. Obama. He titled his book “The Audacity Of Hope” and make no mistake about it, he is an audacious man. However, a more honest title might have been “The Audacity Of a Socialist,” for everything he has said reeks of a true believer in pure, unadulterated socialism. As the above statement indicates, he has no problem with using the government as a tool for intervening and interfering with the lives of American citizens. Always, of course, in the name of doing “what’s right and what’s fair and what’s just.” Lets look at what this portends for us all…

SOCIALIST “METAL HEALTH”

You’ve no doubt heard of the SCHIP (State Children’s Health Insurance Program) controversy by now. President Bush recently vetoed this bill and congress is right this moment gearing up for a fight to attempt to override his veto. This is really a small battle in what is going to be a long protracted fight over socialized medicine in the United States.
