Who says President Obama doesn’t believe in free enterprise? As it turns out, the opposite may be true. If by “free” you mean working without compensation and by “enterprise” you are willing to accept the government as your project. Our president is so committed to the concept of volunteerism and its resultant “free” labor that he is out to undercut the private sector’s ability to make use of it in favor of a government monopoly. No, No I am not talking about a return to indentured servitude or slavery. I’m talking about interns.
GIGGLES AND SPITE
I envy the Byzantines. The death of their empire was spectacular. Muslims under the command of Sultan Mehmed II came storming through the gates of Constantinople on Tuesday, May 29, 1453 and promptly began butchering every man, woman and child in sight as they likewise looted the city’s extensive wealth. When the crescent was lifted over the newly named Istanbul, every survivor of the the once glorious Byzantine Empire was left with no doubt that their world, and all they knew, was over.
Whether or not the United States died on Sunday, March 21, 2010, may still be an open question. There remain many battles to be fought. However the sacking of Washington that we witnessed on our televisions as the damnable Health Care Reform Bill was passed into law was far less noble than that of Constantinople. What we observed, as democrats bribed and intimidated their own members into passing this monstrosity, would make Boss Tweed’s Tammany Hall seem like a Baptist bake sale. At least Tweed and his cronies were bribed with private money.
INTOLERABLE ACTS

Intolerable Acts. The very sound of such words reeks of a tyrannical villainy that exceeds the “run of the mill” oppression normally associated with a bloated, out of control government. However, it also reeks of something else: A people who believe they deserve better and are unwilling to tolerate the tyranny, regardless of the ramifications of resistance. Despite the insistence from our president otherwise, we descend from a good, decent and independent people. However, our government, unable and unwilling to acknowledge this fact, is re-instituting a policy of Intolerable Acts, and we need only consult our wise ancestors in order to discern the remedy.
PERCEPTION IS REALITY
I have been reading a new book this week called “And Party Every Day” by Larry Harris. It tells the story of Casablanca records and how they went from nothing to becoming one of the most powerful labels in the music business. Casablanca, as you may recall, is the label that brought KISS to the world, although they were somewhat of an anomaly to the label. Casablanca became known as the “disco” label at a time when disco was king of the charts. Being a lifelong enlistee in the KISS Army it was inevitable that I would be drawn to this book written by the late Neil Bogart’s second in command. It is a very revealing read.
WHEN PARASITES STRIKE…AGAIN
You can’t make this stuff up. Even as the American taxpayer is being awakened from his slumber of tolerance for the outrage that is the Obama agenda, the “Parasite in Chief’s” faithful supporters insist on demanding their “right” to the fruits of other’s labor. The John Galt and “Tea Party” phenomena that are sweeping across America is sadly, if unsurprisingly, not being reported by the mainstream media who seem to think only the rage of the “entitlement” class is newsworthy. Yet what the media fail to perceive is the amount of anger that these so called “civil disobedience” demonstrations provoke in the Americans whose work and assets must be taxed in order to satiate the appetite of ACORN and their socially engineered parasites. THE DISENFRANCHISEMENT OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION
I love to watch the History channel. Particularly, I love to watch the shows they do on UFO abductions and religious cults. It is fascinating to study the willful self-deception of people who are consumed with violating God’s first commandment. You know, the one about not having any other gods before him. The self-deceived, by the very act of their self-deception, have created their own little universe, complete with its own set of truths and realities, that essentially have placed themselves, or their chosen surrogate, as the godhead of this new universe. The unprecedented subservient and self-congratulatory celebrations that have been taking place throughout the country and, most disturbingly, the media, following the election of Barack Obama have a juvenile quality to it akin to the intoxicated behavior one expects at a college football game from the fools who paint their otherwise half naked bodies in freezing temperatures. Devotees of the new messiah sound all too familiarly like a man describing a “flying saucer” to a skeptical reporter. “They mean us no harm. They’ve come to help us.” Of course they have…
NO REPRESENTATION WITHOUT TAXATION
It is a lie. It is probably the lie most often told by politicians of a particular persuasion, and repeated even more by their parasitic adherents in the press. “The rich do not pay their fair share.” Class warfare has been the modus operandi for socialist movements all over the world, and it is a practice that is alive and well right here in the United States.
